Do you know that you can do simple experiments
at home with common household items? Here’s
one of them:
Invisible Lemon Ink
You Need:
• Lemon
• A small bowl
• Cotton swab
• Paper
• Iron or hair dryer
Do This:
1. Squeeze the lemon into the bowl to get lemon
juice.
2. Use the cotton swab and write something on
paper with lemon juice.
3. Let it dry.
4. Heat the paper with the iron or hair dryer. See
your words!
Why It Happens:
Lemon juice makes the paper weak. Heat makes it
show.
Be Safe:
• Be careful with hot things.
• Ask an adult to help.
